Brief: This is the intro video for one of the newest UN initiatives called Global Pulse. It’s mission is to promote ways governments, corporations and NGOs can figure out how to use “Big Data” to solve social problems in developing countries. The video contains some useful stats on how old methods of data collecting are inferior and examples of how real-time analysis has helped so far.
